About Me

What can I say?
I’m 54 going on 20, have 2 cats and I’ve been teaching at Harlow College since January 1996.

6th October 2009 saw me embark on a new phase of my life. In my never-ending quest to lose weight and keep it off, I had a gastric by-pass. Click here to find out what that is. No blood or gore. It was  a three-hour operation at Homerton Hospital. The staff took great care of me for the three days I was there.

Since then, I’ve lost 13 stone (182 lbs). I’m almost half the man I was!
