Last week of College
It’s the last week, and we’ve got meetings and training sessions and all sorts this week. End of term marking and sending forms off to get students certificated for the work they’ve done.
I’m nearly all done, but I’ve got summer school. Teaching every Monday ’til the end of July, then two weeks at King Harold School in Waltham Abbey. That should be fun!
Got to sort all the course work for that, and make sure the place is all set up for whatever we’re teaching. It’s been ECDL for the last two years. Gotta find out.
Another one bites the dust!
Just got back from getting weighed, and I’ve lost another pound. That’s over half a stone now.
I’m so excited, I feel like singing. Should I sing Queen (Another one bites the dust)or the Pointer Sisters (I’m so excited).
Actually, it should be Queen – Fat Bottomed Girls. (Not so fat now).
Better not. I might scare my students away.
One of them has just come back form Jersey and bought me some Vanilla fudge. Oh dear. I’ll have to share them out so I don’t eat them.
Half a stone gone!
5 weeks into my weight loss program and I’m 7lbs lighter.
I don’t feel lighter, but psychologically, I feel great. I’ve also gone past the first ‘stone barrier’
Some of the loss is probably due to the fact I felt lousy over the weekend – ear infection and cold – and I didn’t have an appetite.
Whatever did it, I’m pleased with myself.
Woo Hoo!
5pm Monday, and I’ve just got back from Boots.
Two weeks after starting a weight loss and exercise regime, I am 4lbs lighter!
Couldn’t go last week because of the Bank holiday, but between times, I’ve had my birthday (very boozy), Simon’s birthday (not bad, had a barbeque at Marina and Peter’s) and not one, but two weddings!
Both had wonderful food, and fab desserts.
You know about the first wedding (see below). The second was my cousin Tony’s. He married the lovely Stephanie.
Her mum and brother came over form Germany for it.

The Pink & Purple wedding
What a great day.
It was a bit of a long journey, but I wasn’t driving!
The whole ‘do’ was at a place called Chippenhall Hall. Great looking place. It’s just outside a place called Fressingfield, near Eye in Suffolk.
The bride and groom wrote their own vows. It was lovely. I still have tear stain on my cheeks!
The theme for the day was Pink and Purple Carnival. Most people got into the spirit. Have a look at the album to see.
There was food from around the world, a pink chocolate fountain and a n Abba tribute band. It was fab.
Got drunk twice in one weekend! Friday night went to the Black Cap in Camden Town with my two sisters, brother, and some good friends. Had a few Smirnoff Ices and champers.
Yesterday; some beers, champers, wine and cocktails. Dunno how I managed to stay awake on the way home.
